AFTER HEAVY RAIN

A full tank has nowhere to go when the ground is wet

South Louisiana soil stays wet much of the year. Heavy rain, high water and hurricane season, June to November, put extra load on septic tanks and sewer plants.

A tank that is already full has nowhere to go. If yours is overdue, call before the next storm, not after.

Our office is open Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 7 a.m. to noon. Call and tell us your community.

SERVICES

What we pump

Septic tanks

Homes and businesses. We vacuum out the liquid, scum and settled solids so the tank has room again. See our septic tank pumping page.

Sewer plants

The home treatment plants locals call sewer plants, or aerobic units. Your maintenance provider handles the mechanical side. We pump out the solids when the tank needs it. See sewer plant pumping.

Grease traps

Restaurants and commercial kitchens. Outdoor in-ground traps and indoor interceptors. See grease trap pumping.

Cesspools

Older pit systems that still serve some properties. See cesspool pumping.

FAQ

Questions we hear

What do you pump?

Septic tanks, home sewage treatment plants (sewer plants), grease traps and cesspools, for homes and businesses around Houma.

How often should a septic tank be pumped?

It depends on the size of your household and the size of your tank. For most homes it is every few years. If you’re not sure when it was last pumped, tell us when you call.

What is a sewer plant?

It is the small home treatment plant, also called an aerobic unit, that many south Louisiana homes use instead of a standard septic tank. Solids still build up in it, and that is what we pump out.

Do you come to my community?

We work within about 40 miles of Houma, across Terrebonne, Lafourche and St. Mary parishes. Check all the communities we serve or call (985) 868-6854 and tell us where you are.
